BGBA Executive Committee Election for 2026–2028 concludes successfully

The Bangladesh Garment Buying House Association (BGBA) has successfully concluded its Executive Committee election for the 2026–2028 term, reaffirming the organisation’s commitment to democratic governance and institutional transparency.

The election was held on Saturday at the UCB Lounge, Uttara Club, in a peaceful, transparent, and orderly manner. A total of 513 general members exercised their voting rights, electing eight candidates from a pool of 15 contestants. In accordance with the association’s election rules, 13 candidates were elected uncontested.

Representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) observed the entire election process, alongside officials from key industry bodies including BGMEA, BKMEA, BTMA, BAFFA, and other stakeholder organisations, ensuring full transparency and regulatory compliance.

The Election Board announced that the final and complete election results will be officially published on January 17, 2026.

The Election Board also expressed appreciation for the discipline, cooperation, and active participation of BGBA members, candidates, observers, and all stakeholders throughout the process.
