Not only the garment industry, but also its allied organizations must ensure environmentally friendly production. Otherwise, these industries will not be able to survive in the global competition in the future, said Mahmud Hasan Khan, President of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA).

He said this at the inauguration ceremony of the Bangladesh Embroidery Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BEMEA) office on Saturday (August 16) afternoon.

The BGMEA President said that BEMEA entrepreneurs have to add more value. The more value can be added, the more the garment industry will move forward. At this time, when BEMEA called on them not to give work to organizations other than their members, he agreed to it.

He also said that the country's industrial entrepreneurs are ready to graduate. But that is not right now. This requires additional time. He also called for building themselves up to face challenges in the additional time.
