At the Bangladesh C-Suite Awards 2025, presented by Mutual Trust Bank PLC and powered by AIUB in association with Twelve Clothing, two prominent textile leaders were honored for their outstanding contributions.

Late Abdullah Hil Rakib,Former Managing Director of Team Group received “The Luminary Award for Sustainable Innovation 2025” for pioneering sustainable industrial transformation. Under his leadership, Team Group adopted environmentally responsible practices, green technologies, and human-centered growth, setting benchmarks in Bangladesh’s industrial sector.

Asif Ashraf, Managing Director & CEO of Urmi Group, was awarded “C-Suite CEO of the Year 2025 – RMG Sector”, with the award received on his behalf by Director Ms. Shamarukh Fakhruddin. He has driven Urmi Group’s sustainability, ethical manufacturing, technology-driven modernization, and global competitiveness, strengthening worker wellbeing and innovation across the company.

The awards recognize their visionary leadership and lasting impact on Bangladesh’s textile and apparel sectors.
