The TIE-ITET Textile Innovation Expo 2026 is set to take place from November 12 to 14, 2026, at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Dhaka, bringing together textile and apparel manufacturers, technology providers, solution developers, researchers and industry stakeholders around innovation-driven solutions for the sector.
Organised by Textile Innovation Exchange (TIE) and implemented by Textile Today Innovation Hub (TTIH), the three-day expo is being held in exclusive collaboration with The Institution of Textile Engineers & Technologists (ITET), Bangladesh, with Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BKMEA) and Bangladesh Garment Buying House Association (BGBA) serving as association partners.
The involvement of these industry associations is expected to strengthen the expo’s connection with manufacturers, buying houses and other stakeholders across Bangladesh’s textile and apparel value chain.
Under the theme “The Future of Textile Innovation is Here”, the expo will focus on technologies, materials, processes and solutions that can help textile and apparel manufacturers improve productivity, reduce costs, strengthen sustainability and build competitiveness.
The event will bring together four specialised exhibition segments: Dyeing & Printing Innovation Expo, Textile Materials Innovation Expo, Garments Automation Innovation Expo, and Green & SusTech Innovation Expo. The segments are designed to cover key areas of technological and operational transformation across the textile and apparel value chain.
A key feature of the expo will be its focus on factory-driven innovation. The Factory Innovation Pavilion will provide a platform for textile and apparel manufacturers to present their own innovation initiatives, process improvements and solutions developed to address real operational challenges.
Alongside product and technology showcases, the expo will create opportunities for live demonstrations, business meetings, knowledge exchange and networking among manufacturers, solution providers, researchers and other industry stakeholders.
The expo comes at a time when Bangladesh's textile and apparel industry is facing increasing pressure to improve efficiency, manage production costs, meet evolving sustainability expectations and move towards higher-value manufacturing. In this context, innovation is increasingly becoming a strategic requirement rather than an optional investment.
The organisers aim to use the platform to encourage stronger connections between industry, technology, research and innovation, creating opportunities for practical solutions to move from ideas and development into industrial application.
The broader vision of the platform is reflected in its guiding statement: “Innovativeness is the Core Competitiveness.”
With the expo scheduled for November 12–14 at ICCB, Dhaka, TIE-ITET Textile Innovation Expo 2026 is expected to bring together a cross-section of the textile ecosystem to explore how innovation can contribute to the industry's next stage of growth.
